This book is about music, travel and drawing, three fundamental experiences in anyone's life. When music accompanies us, when we travel (for work or pleasure) and when we draw (which is an inexpensive way to learn more about our surroundings), our ties to the world become stronger and more cordial.

On 28 July 2024, we left Valencia by train for Barcelona, where we boarded a bus bound for Andorra. We had never been to this small mountainous country before, but our friends Nacho and Vilma, who have lived there for many years, had told us so much about it.

Nacho, whom most people know as Ignacio, is an organist. He studied in Valencia and Barcelona, and currently composes and teaches music in the Principality of Andorra. Every week he plays the organ during religious services at the church of Sant Esteve, and occasionally at other churches that have this instrument. He frequently gives concerts and also organises an organ festival in Andorra.

When we arrived in Andorra, we joined the scheduled visits that several groups of children were going to make as part of their summer school activities. The activity consisted of an explanation of how the organ works, a musical audition and a drawing workshop.

Nacho asked us to give him a hand with the workshops, and so we did. In this way, we got to know the churches of La Massana, Andorra la Vella and Escaldes-Engordany, and almost a hundred children aged between six and twelve who visited one of the three organs and made the drawings and comments that have given rise to this book.
