Ehrenhaus, Andrés

Andrés Ehrenhaus (Buenos Aires, 1955) has lived in Barcelona since 1976, has three children and two grandchildren, and has translated everything from instruction manuals for electronic scales to poems by Shakespeare and A.E. Poe, as well as texts by John Lennon and novels by Aldiss, Barthelme, or Van Sant. He is the author of three books of short stories: Subir Arriba (Rising to the Top), Monogatari, and La Seriedad (Seriousness); and a novel Tratar a Fang Lo (Treating Fang Lo). He was a book commentator on television and is currently a professor of the MA in Translation at the Pompeu Fabra University. His translation agency, Knowhaus, is the first to operate on the entire Hispano-American market. He works until late.
