This is a very special and spatial book, since all the action takes place in space and furthermore, the characters are only kids. However, they are not kids on the back of a cow with wings nor do they suffer nightmares caused by the indigestion of peaches because its author, Luis Ruiz de Gopegui, is a scientist. This is his first book devoted to children and in it, he tells us about everything which we must reasonably know to reach the planet of Mars. Luis is fully aware of this because he watched the operations which facilitated man's arrival to the Moon from the NASA space station in Spain.

Today, the voyage to Mars is above all, an intellectual adventure, but perhaps it will be a reality very soon. Due to its interest and simplicity, this book is easy to read in one sitting and can encourage boys and girls to gaze at the sky in a different way and possibly contribute so that in the future, there will be many astronauts willing to face deep space and the technical difficulties which seem insurmountable today. Nothing is impossible for children.
